You see it everyday, a professional poker player loses a bad beat and throws an emotional tantrum. Just today Daniel Negreanu winner of millions lost a 70/30 hand and threw his vlogging phone against the wall. We can do better as poker players, the world is watching, but how?

First let me be clear that Pokernews incorrectly labels this as a runner runner bad beat. It’s not. The percentages are based on the known cards at the time the money goes in because that is what you can control. So when the money went in in this hand it was about a 70/30 or in other words Dnegs will win roughly 2.5 times for every 1 time he loses. It’s really not that terrible. Now the hand I share in the video below is about is a 93% favorite in comparison when the money goes.
